Wars, famines and diseases have spread over the lost borders
of long-forgotten states. Technology is out of control and takes over where the arms of law and reason have become weak. Hot, uncontrollable storms of fire shred flesh and steel. Dwindling resources and the breakdown of law and order cause wars and new conflicts again and again. The world is bleeding –
and yet beneath the skeleton of ruins, there is something else lurking in the shadows. Something strange, something that perhaps does not even come from this world. And now it senses its opportunity.

Carbon has had its chance. Long live silicon!

Humanity fades into twilight. But the end can also be the beginning.

Kriege, Hungersnöte und Krankheiten verbreiten sich über die verlorenen Grenzen längst vergessener Staaten hinweg. Außer Kontrolle geratene Technologie übernimmt da, wo die Arme des Gesetzes und der Vernunft schwach geworden sind. Heiße, unkontrollierbare Feuerstürme zerfetzen Fleisch und Stahl. Schwindende Ressourcen und der Verlust der Ordnung erzeugen immer wieder Kriege und neue Konflikte.

Die Welt blutet aus – doch unter dem Skelett aus Trümmern schlummert etwas Anderes in den Schatten. Etwas Fremdes.
Etwas, das vielleicht nicht einmal von dieser Welt stammt und nun seine Gelegenheit wittert.

Carbonium hatte seine Chance.
